Wenger should tell RVP about our great business
model when they discuss his contract in the summer. I mean.. Let's get our
priorities right here... What's gonna be more important to a player like RVP at
this stage of his career, who's standing shoulder to shoulder with him next
year.. Or.. Arsenal make record profits again and we're the perfect example of
a business... When Alan Sunderland scored that cracker against man u in 1979 at
Wembley I loved Arsenal because we won. I didn't care about the bank balance
and it wasn't the reasons to support a team back then. Now that's all that can
be said about modern day Arsenal. It's not all been glory days since then and
never has my support wavered since that day. But I can't understand when the
day came when true supporters of a club could accept financial board room
issues over the true feeling of seeing your club successful on the pitch. No
matter what level of football you play or watch.. No matter what trophy, it's
about winning...
